We are willing to be tried.

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we bid farewell to our esteemed MM, PM Jason Virgil, who has now joined our dear brothers PM Woo, PM Dumas, and PM Eli in the great beyond. As President of the “7 Ashlars of Obed“, alongside my line brothers Woo, Dumas, and Virgil, I have been privileged to witness the profound impact of their friendship and unwavering commitment to brotherhood within our cherished MOAB #70.
Together, these brothers formed an unbreakable triumvirate, embodying the principles of Masonry with unparalleled dedication and extending a steadfast hand of charity to our communities. Their collective influence has left an indelible mark, inspiring all who crossed their path to strive for excellence and embody the true spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood.
Whether conquering the ski slopes, playing 36 holes a day of golf in Hilton Head, running a 10 for 2 in spades, engaging in friendly competition at the pool table, or embracing life’s challenges with unyielding resolve, Woo, Dumas, and Virgil approached every endeavor with boundless enthusiasm and camaraderie. Each possessed a unique strength and charisma that uplifted those around them, leaving an enduring legacy of friendship and unity.

In the wake of recent events, the loss of our dear brothers Jason Virgil, Woo, Dumas, and Eli has cast a profound shadow over all our lives and houses. Virgil’s passing, in particular, has deeply affected us all, as he was not only my line brother but also a cherished friend whose presence touched each of us in unique ways.
Virgil’s unwavering spirit and dedication to our fraternity served as a guiding light, inspiring us to be better sons, fathers, husbands, and men. His profound influence has left an indelible mark on our hearts, shaping us into the individuals we are today. We are forever grateful for the invaluable lessons he imparted and the memories we shared.
As we mourn the loss of Virgil and our dear companions, let us take solace in the enduring bonds of brotherhood that unite us. May we honor their memory by embodying the principles of Masonry in our daily lives and striving to make a positive impact on the world around us.

Thank you, MM Jason Virgil, for your friendship, your wisdom, and your unwavering support. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing you.
To our additional, dear MM brothers Woo, Dumas, and Eli, your presence will be sorely missed, but your memory will forever be cherished in our hearts. May your spirits find peace and eternal rest, knowing that your legacy lives on in the lives you touched and the bonds of brotherhood you so faithfully upheld.

As we extend our deepest condolences to their families, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing them, may we find solace in the memories with unwavering dedication and brotherly love.
With profound sadness and heartfelt sympathy,
MM HollyWood Wright
